Beautiful Sunday 1/31

Today, has been amazing so far! I was able to sleep in until 9 and then my husband, dog, and I went up the mountain for some snowshoeing! It was amazing. The snow was falling on our faces while we laughed and held hands, watching our dog bound and leap through the snow! Today I don't think I have any serious life questions to solve! I just needed to get in an update!

FRIDAY 1/29

So, I skipped my entry for yesterday! Hurt me! Anyway, I am sitting on campus right now waiting for my handsome husband to get out of class and I am completely frustrated! I have an assignment to complete a unit plan on my desired subject (history) before next week's class. But to my misfortune, the teacher's library on campus doesn't have any teacher's editions of any secondary education history subjects! Which was where we were supposed to get our information for our assignment! So now I might have to use the trusted internet (yuck) for my project! I am hoping I can ask the history teacher at the high school if I can steal a minute of his time and copy a few pages of his teacher's edition. Anyway, I am hoping that it works!

It's not that I don't enjoy researching on the internet it is just that i prefer something concrete in front of me that I can hold, flip through easily, and be able to read and highlight the parts I want to remember, with the internet you have to stare at a screen for hours finding what you want and then when you do you have to read through it to double check its the right thing and then wait a half hour for the printer to spit it out! I guess you can call me old fashion. But i prefer to do my research... possibly more like a historian!

Today, I encountered my beautiful friend's blog! I am so excited that I am not the only one with a blog. And after reading her blog I have decided to focus my blog on an actual subject. or possibly just get a new blog and keep this one for fun! I love you Molly!

Class review

Ok, so today in my EDCI 320 class we were learning how to use Google Docs and Blogger. Which I have become addicted to! Anyway, I am wondering when Google Docs was invented and why in the world none of our teachers has taught us how to use it yet? Seriously I am a few semesters away from graduating and I have had numerous group projects and Google Docs would have been so beneficial to use! I am a little frustrated and disappointed in the faculty at MSU at the moment. Especially in the education department. You would think that they would out of all the teachers be most encouraging to their students to use Google Docs. It would make their classroom more efficient and make students way less stressed out! So if you haven't used Google Docs yet for a group project I would highly recommend it.

Now, Blogger on the other hand, is so much better than facebook. You get to choose the people who read your blogs and you can just write about whatever you want. If you are an avid reader like me you will find this to be so fascinating. I feel strongly that the more you read the more you want to write. and for the past couple week I have wanted to buy a journal to document all my thoughts but now, I have a blog, which I can document my thoughts and have people comment on them! So fascinating! I know blogs have been around for quite some time, except now I know how to make one!

Ok, I will stop blogging now! For a bit!

Jan. 27

Today, I am creating a blog page for my EDCI 320 class. I have never used a blog. This is very interesting.
